| I love yaoi and shounen ai but when I'm bored I read shoujo since there's romance. I don't like drama at all since I know I'll cry so I try to look for happy endings so no tragedy for me.

| I really like BL and Fantasy genre, provided that the artist doesn't recycle cliched story elements. Stuff like magic, fantasy sceneries, mythical creatures, castles and knights really whet my appetite If anyone here reads 'Crimson Spell' by Ayano Yamane (sorry, this is yaoi..), you'd know what I mean. Ooh those tattoos... *swoons*

| I started out preferring shoujo, but as I got older I preferred josei. Now I really seem to be enjoying yaoi, probably because I have people close to me who've come out of the closet and I wanted to understand them better and feel closer to them. I really like action, too, so shounen is good. Gosh, I guess I'm not really picky.

| My favourite genre is yaoi, followed by Josei and then I also like manhwa shoujo (some ie. han yu rang, hwang mi ri etc). But on a whole I prefer BL.

| My favourite genre is yaoi and shounen ai, specially with fantasy (like crimson spell or silver diamond). I read shounen too, but I prefer it in anime (kuroshitsuji or nabari no ou). I don't really read a lot of shoujo (I have bad luck picking shoujo titles, goong depressed me!)

| I like a bit of everything. I like romance, action, adventure. I like comedy when is well made and I like tragedy too because sometimes a sad story is cool. I love seinen, I read a lot of seinens. And I like Josei because is more adult than shoujo.

| Yaoi for sure. I'm not much for shounen-ai, honestly, even though some of it is pretty cute. I'd rather have smth more .. hardcore. ;)
Seinen is a big one for me, too [The Breaker ftw!] and romance, as well. Comedy, supernatural, shounen, shoujo and a little bit of shoujo-ai. No yuri, though. /: Generally, I actually like all genres, as long as the story and art are good.

| BOYS LOVE in all its forms  I love it so much, I can even tolerate crap story, crap art, crap everything as long as there are two guys doing 'hearts' in it, heh heh.

| I don't have a favourite genre.
I'm very eclectic: I like Shounen, Seinen, Shoujo, Action, Adventure, Comedy, Romance, Drama, Fantasy, Horror, Supernatural, Tragedy...
But I'm crazy for shounen-ai and yaoi. One of my HD's is "crowded" with these genres.
And... I'm a pervert but I don't really "love" hentai and ecchi.

| I don't specifically have a favorite, though I tend to read a lot of shoujo. I don't exactly look for a manga in a specific genre to read. If the story seems interesting, then I'm up for trying it out. So sometimes I end up reading a genre I would never even picture myself reading, but end up loving it because of the the storyline.

| I love shounen-ai, yaoi, fantasy, sci-fic, historical, etc. Truthfully, I tend to love any manga that speaks to me. I hope that makes sense but there has to be certain quality in the manga that it basically has the make-up of a good rpg or book with great characterization, plot, no stereotypes, and a wonderful, addicting story.

| uhm... yaoi counts as a genre right? ahahha... i love bl, especially the ones that's pretty sweet (and kinda hard core too) since u cant find it in reality (the bishies that are only into men. wait. magazine models are mainly that way, but i can always dream that they will pick me, a female, as his gf anyway). but the storylines are better than shoujo mangas. probably cause i'm getting older tho, so typical shoujo stories are just.. 'ok' for me.

| I like BL XDD A shounen-ai, slice of life plus comedy must be my choice for most of time XDD That's the reason why I like Cello Mellow, Seven Days and lots of shounen-ai manga XDD
Another choice is supernature and angst :) I'm a fan of Clamp's works, especially X/1999 and xxxHolic. Works of Kaori Yuki is so great too, you can not confused about her art and story anywhere alse XDD Let read Angel Sanctuary, Luwig Kankumei, Boy Next Door... to have your own feeling :">
But I don't really hate any genre. I read shounen, shoujo, kodomo with tragedy, fanatasy, romantic... You can find something very interesting when trying new ones, right XD

I also don't mind comedy mangas as long as it has a bit of romance in it then I'll read it.

| Genre wise, I prefer Shounen-ai, yaoi, and shoujo, but over the years my taste has been refined and now I'm really choosy about the manga that I read, they have to have good artwork, but even more important is the fact that they have to have good story lines and likable (lovable) characters
