| How is a webtoon a genre rather than a format? I'm trying to educate my parents that anime and manga are media and an art form.

| Weland, I just put it as a genre because most of the time, we don't know the Genre. Also, some people prefer webtoons over other manga so having them seperated is just to classify them that they are not "manga" (as in the normal black and white page but instead a long page, etc).
