I just finished watching K, cause of the uproar about the anime and there's been many cosplayers on the series. I dont like the ending of the season, but i decided not to say anything, in case there's still some people who havent watched it.

I've also been tuning into Psycho Pass. I think it's a good one. It's about the future world, where the laws are based on the human's emotional condition. If you lie, there's a warning, and if your have more and more warnings, you'll be labeled as a terrorist and thus, shall be punished. Actually, it's better to read the summary from mangaupdates (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=85841), it's more accurate.
With the story and all, i'd recommend this to anyone who's up for some action. :)

anyone has other anime recommendations? please share. T-Ups

An older anime that I've recommended in the past is Usagi Drop.
It's the anime I suggested to a small group of friends who gave me the "You watch anime?!" look.

If you haven't watched it, it involves a 30 year old bachelor, Daikichi, who goes home for his grandfather's funeral.
The family discovers the grandfather had a 6 year old daughter, Rin, out of wedlock.
When the family refuses to acknowledge her, Daikichi takes Rin home to raise her.

After watching Usagi Drop, they no longer give me that "You watch anime?!" look.
Now, if only I could find a way to ease them into yaoi. Ds

Anime I definitely recommend include Hikaru no Go. It is an old anime but it is an amazing series. Who knew a game of Go could be so exciting! I love the characters and quest to be the best. The theme songs are also amazing. Natsume is another beautiful series. Although it is not fast pace as other anime there is a beauty to the storyline where it just drags you in. You can not help but fall in love with the characters.

I definitely recommend:
-"Charlotte", which is set in an alternate future that has kids with powers enrolled in a school that is meant to keep them (and people around them) safe. It has elements of comedy, tragedy, and intense drama that really draws you in. It also has a really beautiful soundtrack.
-"Jellyfish Princess", which is like a more upbeat and comical "Paradise Kiss". It has wonderful artwork and lovable characters. It's shoujo, so of course there is a major element of romance, but it's not shown in a typical overly dramatic manner.
-"Parasyte -the Maxim-", which isn't like the other two I mentioned. It's a really gritty psychological-horror. WARNING: Lots of blood and death, but the story and character growth really make up for it (if violence isn't your cup of tea). It, also, has a fast and heavy opening theme that is super-addicting to listen to.
-"Death Parade", which is set in a bar in purgatory, where patrons play a game that decides whether they will be reincarnated or sent to oblivion. That may seem really simple, but the main focus is on the growth of the "bartender", Decim. The artwork is really beautiful and, of course, the soundtrack is wonderful.
-Lastly, "Tokyo Ghoul". This anime is completely different from any that I've ever encountered. It centers on a college student who undergoes a surgical procedure that turns him into a creature/person called a "Ghoul", which survives on the consumptions of humans. The main character starts off very anxious and uncertain, but he eventually comes to terms with his transformation in his own way and uses his new power to protect what he cares for. WARNING: For blood and gore. On top of the anime (and manga) being great in itself, the soundtrack is really amazing!

I highly reccomend the anime of Akatsuki no Yona.
It is well animated, the OST is gorgeous and will remember you of the athmospheres of Ancient Korea, and the characters are in line whit their characterization as it is show in the manga.
The manga is one of the most beautiful and well written shojo I've ever read (better even than Sailor Moon, I might add), and the anime can keep up with it. The down side is that (for now, I hope), it is only one season :(

from spring 2016 season, i recommend Shounen Maid and Tanaka-kun wa Itsumu Kedaruge.  they were cute slice of life.  for action/sci-fi genre, Koutetsu no Kabaneri was pretty interesting with great production value.  ^^/

summer 2016 is big fujo-fest season! \0/

I would recommend Otogi Zoshi.
It's an older series (about 10 years and a bit) and is only 26 episodes long.
I have not watched or finished many anime but this is one of the few, that I continued to the end.

The story line involves traditional esoteric cosmology, Onmyouji, Samurai, gender bender, reincarnation, and love.
It takes place in ancient and modern day Japan.
Plot wise, just a little, little bit like Inuyasha but no comedy.

I second the Otogi Zoshi rec.  I absolutely loved that series, it's a beautiful story!  I basically ended up binge-watching it! ^_^  Many other great recs here too, including a few I haven't seen that I'll have to check out!
