| My first manga was when I was 6. :| It was Inuyasha, and I had wandered into the graphic novels section of the library... Had nightmares about a woman that put on a mask and started chasing me for like 2 days. It's a very graphic memory. >u> And of course, out of all the Inuyasha tankubon forms, I had to get that one. I didn't read manga again until I was 11, when a friend introduced me to the not-as-violent-as-I-remembered side of manga/manhua/manhwa. <:

| I remember my first Manhwa/Manga purchase. It was Demon Diary and Vampire Game. I brought it on a whim when I saw it at Borders. But I only started reading manga/manhwa a little before the purchase. And if we're talking specifically Manhwa (korean comics right) then my first is most likely Demon Diary

| My first manga was Ouran Koukou Host Club. My friend was actually the one that bought the first book out of impulse but she just wasn't interested. I decided to read and I immediately got hooked on it and bought the first book from here and started the series. Eventually, my whole group of friends got into it to the point that we match ourselves (we happened to have exactly 7 people) into the characters and here I am as Mitsukuni Haninozuke :)

| I don't remember my first manga, but I think it was Inuyasha. It could have been Chobits, Mars, or Fruits Basket, too, though. Not sure. My first manhwa was Red Moon by Mina Hwang, which I could never finish because the publisher went out of business and never finished publishing the series and no one ever scanlated it. It was a Sci-fi fantasy romance. I really liked it, too. poo. Still makes me depressed thinking about it.

| My first manga was Fruits basket!. I really adored it when I was little, and have since read it about 4 times, The only reason I read it in the first place was my cousin left it over my house one day, and being bored I decided to read volume 1 promptly buying the subsequent volumes!

| I don't quite remember the name of the first manga i read, but i recall it was a yaoi one after i found a picture from that manga and aroused my curiosity, wanting to know what is all that about. And that was also the moment i became addicted to reading this type of mangas.

| My first manga was Rurouni Kenshin. I came across the anime first, I believe, and a few months later my older brother pointed out the existence of manga. I went crazy from that moment forward and started collecting. I'm pretty sure this was a little over eight years ago...maybe more or less.
